    Random-number helpers used by simulations: Box-Muller normal variates
    ('normal', 'normal'') and generator advancement ('updateGen'). All three
    are re-exported unchanged from "ExchangeAlgebra.Simulate"; this module
    only separates them from the state-space engine
    ("ExchangeAlgebra.Simulate.Engine").
